WEIBEL
Rosalia “Chalia” (nee Salazar), age 82 of Broomall, on July 29, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Josef and loving mother of Jose Weibel (Vicki), Mortiz Weibel (James), Corina Weibel, Maricella Mc’I’aggart (John) and Elizabeth Brito; dear grandmother of Ricky, Jameson, Corina, Riley, Brandon, Joseph and Evalisse and devoted sister of Andres Salazar, Josefa and Rosario Salazar. Born and raised in Venezuela, Rosalia was the eldest of four. At an early age, she developed an interest in other cultures. This motivated her to attend school in Jamaica, continue her education and master English. She returned to Caracas, and quickly landed a secretarial position with the renowned Fernandez Moran. One day, the resume of a Swiss named Josef Weibel landed on her desk. The rest is history. They raised their five children in two countries and three states. The family that they created was her pride and joy. Together the tribe traveled the world. Rosalia was an active member of the Casa de Venezuela, International Women’s Club, and New Helvetic Society. Her truest devotion was to her Catholic faith which guided her throughout her life . |
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Tuesday, August 7th, IO AM followed by her Funeral mass at 11 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment private. |
